The Most Used Keyboard Shortcuts

Using keyboard shortcuts is a great way to decrease the time it takes to do tasks in Windows.

* CTRL+A - select all that’s displayed in your open window or on the screen

* CTRL+C - copy what’s highlighted (text, a file, an image)

* CTRL+V – paste what’s highlighted (text, a file, an image)

* CTRL+P – print what is displayed on your screen (in an open program window)

* CTRL+Z – undo the last thing you did (whether that’s a text change, or a file deleted)

* CTRL+Y – re-do the last thing you used the undo function for

* DELETE – remove what’s highlighted

* ALT+TAB - move between your open programs and windows

* ALT+ESC - move through your open programs and windows in the order you opened them

* ESC – cancel or back out of what you are doing

* CTRL+B – to bold whatever text is highlighted

* CTRL while dragging an item – create a copy of the selected item
